On Friday 16th November in the school hall, George Murphy gave a talk on Turlough Hill .
We watched a DVD and then George explained to the children about the construction of Turlough Hill, the tunnel and upper lake.
He spoke about the way the electricity was made by the flow of water from the upper lake down to the lower lake with the use of turbines. How the water was then pumped back up to the upper lake.
We all enjoyed the talk. Thanks again to George.
