Junior and Senior Infants Waterproof Experiment
Junior and Senior Infants tested various materials to find out which materials were waterproof. We did this so that we could use the material to make a coat for our class teddy Fluffy, for when he is out playing in the rain. We tested:
- A Plastic Bag
- Kitchen Roll
- A Piece of Felt
We made sure it was a fair test by having the same amount of each material and by ensuring we soaked each piece of material in the water for the same amount of time.
We discovered that the only waterproof material out of the five was the plastic bag. We decided that a coat made of recycled plastic would be the best option for Fluffy!
